- 1st through 6th grade ELL Teacher Support
Materials for core language arts program (90
lessons)—wrote and edited 10-page lessons correlated to Texas learning
standards (ELPS).
(Work commissioned by a large editorial development house. Completed in
six weeks.)
- Algebra II ADP math program
(five chapters)—wrote and edited student edition. (Work
commissioned by a large editorial development house.)
- 6th grade
reading program (whole grade)—wrote and edited teacher
edition wrap and accompanying transparencies and blackline masters;
wrote and edited teacher edition comprehension development pages and
accompanying transparencies; wrote and edited blackline masters for
leveled readers. (Work
commissioned by a large editorial development house. Work
completed in five weeks.)
- 6th grade reading
program (most of grade)—wrote and edited teacher edition
leveled fluency
development pages; wrote and edited teacher edition weekly review
pages; wrote and edited
teacher edition front and end matter, including study skills
development, unit projects, and
vocabulary and reading strategy development. (Work commissioned by a
large editorial
development house. Completed on accelerated schedule.)

English language development program (seven lessons)—wrote and
edited
original student edition passages and activities; wrote and edited
teacher edition instructional materials totaling 30 pages per lesson
that addressed listening and speaking, reading comprehension, and
writing. (Work
commissioned by a medium-sized editorial development house. Work
completed in 2.5 weeks.)

on level reading passages and practice book activities and then leveled
for struggling, advanced, and ELL levels.

included answer analysis, score analysis, fluency tests, and
correlation charts.

content correlated to state
standards and then wrote and edited state specific workbook. (Wrok
commissioned by publisher.)

music series—edited English version of teachers guide, media
components, parent
magazine, and take home materials at manuscript stage and three
production passes;
translated media components, parent magazine, take home materials, and
other miscellaneous
materials from English to Spanish; reviewed translated materials at
several production passes.
